Return to Norwich Baroque

January 14, 2019

My lovely friends at Norwich Baroque have invited me back to perform a concert celebrating my return to East Anglia, in which they've alowed me to pick a programme of music that means a lot to me and reflects my career to date.

The programme will include Bach's sublime Cantata 170, 'Vergnügte Ruh'', which has to be one of the most beautiful pieces of music ever written - it somehow captures all that is best about Bach in 15 minutes! I'll also be singing arias from Handel's Theodora - one of the pieces that made me choose to pursue singing - and some more rare arias from Scarlatti .Buy tickets here!

As Holofernes, Diana Moore combined military grandeur and suave seductiveness into a superb portrait of a warrior at play on the fields of love.
